An employee is trained in the operation of an enespa system.
Your employees are trained by us. And of course, all our systems fulfil the required guidelines and are CE-compliant.

Chemical recycling

Facts & figures
  • By 2030, a recycling rate of 55% for plastic waste is to be achieved in Switzerland and the EU. Our production facilities prove that the chemical recycling of plastics is economically viable. Source: Swissrecycle.ch

  • should be recyclable by 2030. This is the goal set by the RecyPac association, which wants to set up a collection system. Today, most plastic packaging ends up in the rubbish. Source: Recypac.ch

  • That's how much energy our thermolysis plant consumes per kilogramme of plastic waste. This is made possible by our innovative heating system, which is currently being patented.

  • That is the goal for the production of plastics in Europe. In order to achieve this ambitious goal, the use of fossil resources in production must be significantly reduced. Source: Plasticeurope.org

  • That's what plastics and chemical companies want to invest in the expansion of chemical recycling plants in Europe by 2030. Up to 3.4 million tonnes of plastic can be recovered annually as a result. Source: Plasticeurope.org

Oil refinement

Highly complex analyses are possible in enespa's high-tech laboratory. This guarantees consistent quality.
The sales price of our own gas oil is based on the ICIS index value and varies with the crude oil price. The picture shows Dr Albert Paparo analysing an oil sample.

Tyre pyrolysis

  • are produced in Germany every year. The granulate from used tyres for sports fields, artificial turf etc. is becoming more difficult to use due to increasingly stringent legal requirements. Source: ARD.de

  • This amount is exported from Germany to non-EU countries every year - where the old tyres are often used as fuel without being regulated. Source: kfz-betrieb.vogle.de

Research laboratory

The enespa research laboratory can keep up with the Fraunhofer Institute.
In the small circle of plastic waste recyclers that use pyrolysis to produce oil from mixed plastic, enespa is currently the only company that operates its own research department with a high-tech laboratory.
