Minimised energy consumption

Energy for pre-treatment
A conveyor belt transports the shredded material to the next station.
The material is crushed in the grinder. In the centrifugal system, moisture is reduced and foreign particles are separated.
Energy for pyrolysis
The pre-treated material is fed into the reactor on a conveyor belt.
The pyrolysis reactor is a closed system in which the plastic decomposes into gaseous short-chain hydrocarbons.

Process optimisations

In-house developments
Step 1: The input material is PP or PE plastics. Step 2: Buffer box. This prevents the plastic shreds from sticking together so that they can be measured. Step 3: Plasticiser. It requires only a fraction of the energy compared to thermal processes. Step 4: Thermolysis reactor. It enables the reaction at different temperatures.
