Our systems are compact and space-saving. The individual modules fit into a 40-foot container and can be shipped anywhere in the world. After arrival at your site, mechanical and electrical installation takes around 4 weeks. The subsequent commissioning also includes the training of your system operators.

Minimised energy consumption

You want to earn money as quickly as possible with a new investment. We make sure that your energy costs are as low as possible. To do this, we constantly measure the energy values at each step during production. Here is an example.

Energy for pre-treatment

Consumption for a WastX P5 (plastic-to-oil) with a throughput of 5 tonnes per day:

Energy requirement: approx. 440 kWh
Process steps: granulation, drying, buffering, extrusion
Feedstock: polyolefins (HDPE, LDPE, PP, PS)

The enespa pyrolysis systems are designed for processing polyolefins (HDPE, LLDPE, PP, PE). The material is processed and passes from the buffer box into the plasticiser, which melts the material. The downstream extruder compresses the material and feeds it into the reactor.

Energy for pyrolysis

Consumption for a WastX P5 (plastic-to-oil) with a throughput of 5 tonnes per day:

Energy requirement: approx. 260 kWh
Process step: thermal decomposition (depolymerisation)
Max. operating temperature: 600 °C
Max. operating pressure: 0.5 bar
Overall dimensions (L x W x H): 7150 x 2800 x 4150 mm

In the pyrolysis reactor, the plastic is broken down into gaseous short-chain hydrocarbons. At the outlet of the reactor, the gaseous pyrolysis products and the solid residues are separated. The pyrolysis gas passes through two condensation columns in which the pyrolysis oil is produced. Solid residues are automatically discharged via a conveyor system.

Process optimisations

When building a system, we focus on energy efficiency. We use our in-house developments when conventional processes do not meet our requirements. For example, we use a completely new type of electric heater when changing the state of the aggregate from solid to gas. It reduces the energy requirement to such an extent that we can save a third of the energy.

Through these and many other process optimisations, we ensure that your system works as economically as possible so that you can earn money with it.

If you want to test specific raw materials, you can do so as part of a campaign production at our pilot plant. Our laboratory is directly adjacent, allowing you to see how suitable your raw material is for chemical recycling.

As specialists in the circular economy, we ensure that your oil finds a local buyer. We create the link to the next partner in the recycling chain. This is how we ensure that plastic waste actually becomes plastic again.
