The «Wallaby» project represents enespa's first foray into the Australian market. And it could be the start of a success story. Wallabies are a species of kangaroo. The national animal emblem of Australia can only hop forwards and thus represents progress.

Showcase pyrolysis plant (daily capacity of 1 tonne) arrives at APR in Melbourne and is put into trial operation with various plastic waste feedstocks.

REDcycle, an Australian soft plastics collection and recycling program, was launched in 2011. After much confusion and various scandals, the system collapsed in 2022. A practical solution to this problem had to be found urgently. This is where our Australian business partner Plastoil came to the fore.
