Chemical recycling
The pyrolysis of plastics is gaining momentum in many regions of the world, driven by regulatory pressure, increasing awareness and, not least, economic potential . As a pioneer in the field of chemical recycling, we collaborate with strategically selected partners to drive the circular economy of plastics forward.
Strategic partnership with PlastEco
Acquisition of a stake in the Finnish company PlastEco Ltd. has assisted in entering the Finnish market. The pyrolysis plant shipped to Lahti has a capacity of 5 tonnes per day and is set to commence operation in April 2025.
First pyrolysis plant in Australia
With the «Wallaby» project, enespa exported a plant for the first time, and immediately to the other side of the world. This marked the start of their Australian adventure, which will see the realisation of further projects.
Sale of a research plant
One of our research plants was acquired by COPPE , the renowned engineering institute of the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ). The plant enables researchers to conduct intensive research into chemical recycling.
